비오토프 갤러리는 살아있는 식물을 활용한 다양한 예술,디자인 활동을 하고 있는 플랜팅 스케이핑 조경브랜드이다.
조경, 이끼 연구, 이끼 공예, 테라리움, 비바리움, 플랜테리어, 게릴라 가드닝, 콜라보레이션, 전시 등 다양한 분야에서 비오토프 만의 색깔으로 작업하고 있다.
살아 있는 식물을 ‘키우는 것’이라는 근본을 바탕으로 동식물이 살아가는 자연의 생태계, 서식지와 같은 공간 디자인을 하기 위해 끊임없이 연구하고 새로운 시도를 하고 있다.

The Biotope Gallery is a planting and landscaping brand that engages in various art and design activities using living plants. In fields such as landscaping, moss research, moss crafts, terrariums, vivariums, planters, guerrilla gardening, collaborations, exhibitions, and more, BIOTOPE brings its unique touch. 

Based on the fundamental idea of "cultivating living plants," BIOTOPE constantly researches and experiments to design spaces that mimic the natural ecosystems and habitats in which flora and fauna thrive.

Under the artist name "Sak," he participates in various activities as a plant artist, including moss research, moss crafts, vivariums, landscaping, and art. They are the author of "Growing Moss Indoors" and manage the Biotope Gallery YouTube channel dedicated to plant-scaping. What started as a childhood hobby of cultivating moss and creating vivariums has grown into a 20-year career. They focus on designing gardens and spaces that resemble habitats, aiming to capture the essence of nature itself. Their work extends beyond landscaping, encompassing a variety of artistic, performative, collaborative, and exhibition projects involving plants.

삭이라는 작가명으로 이끼 연구, 이끼 공예, 비바리움, 조경, 예술 등 플랜츠 아티스트로의 다양한 활동을 하고 있다.
‘실내에서 이끼 키우기’ 저자이며 플랜트 스케이핑 유튜브 비오토프 갤러리를 운영중이다.
초등학생 때부터 취미였던 이끼 키우기와 비바리움 제작은 어느덧 20년의 경력이 되었고 추구해오던 서식지와 같은 공간, 자연 그 자체의 디자인으로 정원, 공간 디자인을 하고 있다. 조경이라는 작업에 한정되지 않고 식물으로 할 수 있는 다양한 예술,퍼포먼스,콜라보레이션, 전시 작업을 진행하고 있다.
